Unbeknownst to me, in addition to being passionate about improving our town's school food, this local mom has a bevvy of knowledge and a knack for coming up with marketing strategies. Sometimes I forget that the nice mom at the playground also had a life before kids... Anyway, she is winner #1 and I will soon either be doing a Trader Joe's shopping trip with her to point out my favorite quick meals (assembled from their cost-effective products), or joining her in her kitchen to share some family-friendly, simple meals she can whip up for her boys.
